Cool Water Reborn Eau de Parfum Intense is a 2024/2025 release that marks a new chapter for Davidoff. It emphasizes “eco-conscious luxury,” using a vegan formula and upcycled ingredients. While the original Cool Water was famous for its ozonic, “blue” sea notes, the Reborn Intense version feels greener and more grounded.
The scent opens with a crisp, punchy Galbanum, giving it a resinous, leaf-like freshness that feels modern and sharp. The heart is dominated by Haitian Vetiver, which is distilled specifically to highlight its clean, woody facets rather than its smoky ones. The dry down is anchored by a warm Amber base, providing a “golden hour” glow that ensures the fragrance lasts much longer on the skin than the original EDT. It is an excellent choice for someone who grew up with Cool Water but wants a more mature, high-performance version for the current day.
