Launched in 2008, The One For Men Eau de Toilette was created with the goal of becoming a “classic” fragrance that men would wear for decades. It succeeded by offering a scent profile that is universally liked—often appearing at the top of “most complimented” lists. It is lighter and more “transparent” than the Eau de Parfum, making it surprisingly versatile for both daytime office wear and evening dates.

The opening is bright and aromatic, featuring Grapefruit and Basil, which provides a clean, inviting start. As it develops, the Ginger and Cardamom create a warm, “golden” spiciness that is cozy rather than sharp. The signature of the fragrance is the dry down: a masculine blend of Cedarwood, Amber, and Tobacco. Unlike many heavy winter scents, the tobacco here is fresh and “blonde,” giving it a refined, slightly sweet quality. While its longevity is moderate (approx. 4–6 hours), its scent trail is considered one of the most inviting in the designer world.
