Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Intense Eau de Parfum

Created by master perfumer Honorine Blanc, the Intense version was designed to turn the “birth of happiness” found in the original EDP into “unforgettable bliss.” The bottle is easily distinguished from the original by its deep fuchsia/ruby lacquered glass (v. the lighter pink of the EDP) and bold gold “Intense” lettering.

The scent opens with the familiar, cheerful sparkle of Italian Mandarin, but it quickly evolves into a much more voluptuous floral experience. While the original focused on a delicate white floral breeze, the Intense version adds more dimension with Hedione (which gives a sun-drenched, radiant effect) and a higher concentration of Gardenia Accord. The most significant change is in the dry down: it is noticeably creamier and warmer, utilizing a high-quality Sandalwood Essence and hints of Patchouli to ensure the fragrance anchors to the skin for 8+ hours. It feels more “evening-ready” and sophisticated than the standard version.
