Created by Françoise Caron (and later refined within the Hermès collection), Eau d’Orange Verte is inspired by the smell of a damp garden. The bottle is the signature “lantern” shape of the Hermès Cologne collection, finished in a deep, frosted emerald green glass that perfectly reflects the juice inside.

The fragrance is famous for its literal and realistic interpretation of citrus. It opens with a sharp, zesty burst of Orange, Lemon, and Mandarin, but it isn’t a “sweet” orange; it’s bitter and green, like the rind and the leaves of the tree.
