Unlike the airy or sugary roses found in Idôle or La Vie Est Belle, Rose Or Die is a “high-contrast” fragrance. It utilizes a unique extraction of the Centifolia Rose that captures its most potent aroma. The scent opens with a sharp, spicy edge of Black Tea and Incense, immediately setting a dark tone. As the rose blooms, it feels “velvety” and deep, rather than fresh. The dry down is exceptionally long-lasting, featuring Leather and Guaiac Wood, which gives the fragrance a smoky, almost charred elegance that lingers on the skin for 10+ hours.
