Created by Quentin Bisch, this fragrance is an “Extrait,” meaning it has an exceptionally high fragrance oil concentration (often around 30-35%). The bottle is a heavy, minimalist glass flacon with a textured metal cap, characteristic of Maison Crivelli’s “slow perfume” aesthetic.
The scent experience is a contrast of temperatures. It opens with a loud, tart burst of Hibiscus and Cassis (Blackcurrant), which feels cold and zesty. This is immediately warmed by a heavy dose of Cinnamon and Spearmint. The heart reveals a lush, jammy Damask Rose, but the real magic happens in the dry down: a blend of Leather and Vanilla Beans. The result is a scent that smells like “expensive, dark red velvet.” It is famous for its massive projection and its unique ability to be both “edible” and “sophisticated.”
