Created by François Demachy, Holy Peony is designed to be a “floral portrait” of a flower that is both fragile and bold. It lacks the “green” or “watery” edges of Rose Gipsy, opting instead for a fuller, more “velvety” texture.

The fragrance opens with a sparkling burst of Red Fruits (Strawberry and Raspberry), which gives the floral heart a playful, jammy sweetness. The heart is a masterful blend of Rose and Peony accords, creating a lush, petally sensation. To keep it from being too youthful or sweet, Demachy grounded the composition with Apricot notes (for a velvety skin feel) and a base of Woods and Musk.
