La Rouge Baroque Eau De Parfum
La Rouge Baroque is often considered a sister fragrance or a slight variation within the Maison Alhambra “Baroque” line. Like its counterparts, it is heavily inspired by the Baccarat Rouge 540 DNA. It is a luminous, dense, and highly diffusive fragrance that aims to provide that famous “expensive-smelling” trail of burnt sugar, saffron, and airy woods.

While very similar to Baroque Rouge 540, La Rouge Baroque is sometimes noted for having a slightly punchier opening. The bottle usually maintains the aesthetic of the “Baroque” collection—a heavy glass flacon with a regal cap and red/gold detailing.
The scent is built on the interplay between spice and sweetness. It opens with a sharp, metallic Saffron and a touch of Jasmine. The heart is dominated by Amberwood, which provides that signature “molecular” warmth that seems to disappear and reappear throughout the day. The base is composed of Fir Resin and Cedar, which gives the fragrance a slightly balsamic, forest-like dry down. It is a “beast mode” performer for its price, known for its ability to project across a room and stay on clothes for days.
