Launched in 2019 as part of the “Gaultier Garden” universe, Le Beau is a cleaner, more streamlined version of the Gaultier masculine identity. The bottle is the iconic male torso, rendered in a clear, faceted emerald-green glass with a gold vine leaf positioned at the base—a nod to the Garden of Eden theme.

The scent is famous for its “three-note” simplicity, though it smells much more complex in the air. It opens with an ultra-bright, zesty Bergamot that provides an immediate cooling effect. The heart features Coconut Wood, which is less “sunscreen-like” and more woody and creamy, giving it a tropical but masculine vibe. The dry down is anchored by Tonka Bean, which adds a smooth, sweet, and slightly almond-like finish that lingers on the skin. It is widely considered one of the best “summer-night” fragrances because it balances freshness with a seductive, creamy warmth.
