Le Male Lover was launched as a limited edition that pays homage to the original sailor theme while introducing a much more “intimate” profile. The bottle is a direct nod to Gaultier’s fashion history, featuring the classic male torso in a clear, light blue glass decorated with navy blue tattoos, specifically the “Le Male” heart and anchor motifs seen on the 1994 runway.
The fragrance is a departure from the heavy sweetness of Ultra Male or Elixir. It opens with a crisp, slightly spicy spark of White Pepper and Finger Lime. The heart is unexpectedly floral yet masculine, utilizing Violet Leaves to provide a green, watery texture.
