Created by François Demachy, Oud Rosewood belongs to the “Oud” family of the Dior collection (alongside Oud Ispahan and Purple Oud), but it is arguably the most “textural” of the three.

The fragrance opens with a surprising and delicious contrast of Quince and Raspberry, which adds a tart, jammy brightness to the initial spray. This sweetness is short-lived as the heart of Animalic Notes and Sandalwood takes over, creating a “milky” yet primal woodiness. The base is where the fragrance settles into its namesake: a combination of Agarwood (Oud) and Rosewood.
