Launched in 2024, Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar | 42 was created to be the ultimate “sugar rush” in the Kayali lineup. The number 42 represents the dozens of iterations needed to achieve a scent that feels high-end despite its literal candy inspiration. The bottle is the signature faceted shape, but finished in a pearlescent, iridescent violet/pink that reflects the playful “sugar-coated” vibe of the juice.

The scent opens with a very sweet, juicy Candied Pear and a distinct Bubblegum note that feels fun and flirtatious. As it warms, it reveals a heart of Jelly Beans and Cariad (Rock Sugar), which gives it a sparkling, crystalline sweetness. To prevent it from being too youthful, the base is grounded in Vanilla Musk, Tonka Bean, and Patchouli, which adds a creamy, slightly earthy depth.
