Created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas (the legend behind Acqua di Gio), Deziro is part of the Time Capsule Collection, which explores human emotions through scent.
The fragrance opens with a sharp, cooling burst of Mandarin and Sea Notes, immediately evocative of cold ocean waves. However, unlike traditional aquatics that stay light, Deziro quickly reveals a complex heart of Star Anise and Geranium, adding a spicy, floral “shiver” to the scent. The dry down is exceptionally rich for a marine fragrance, utilizing Haitian Vetiver, Amboxan, and Sandalwood. This gives the perfume incredible longevity and a “salty skin” texture that feels luxurious and slightly mysterious. It is the “adult” version of a summer aquatic.
